PROGRAM DETAILS

Lingnan University provides a range of scholarships to support exceptional non-local students who wish to pursue full-time undergraduate studies at the University with funding from the University Grants Committee (UGC). Successful candidates will receive one of the following scholarships:

• Full Scholarship: Covers tuition fees, hostel expenses, and partially supports academic and living costs.
• Half Scholarship: Partially covers tuition fees and offers some financial support.
• Full-tuition Scholarship: Covers the entire cost of tuition fees.
• Half-tuition Scholarship: Partially covers the cost of tuition fees.

Each scholarship is renewable on an annual basis and can be maintained throughout the standard duration of the study program, contingent upon the maintenance of exceptional academic performance.

Also, the availability of scholarships is limited, and applicants who apply during the Early Round will receive notification starting from January. Therefore, it is highly recommended that applicants submit their applications as early as possible.

Please note that scholarships are not available for self-financed undergraduate programs.

In order to qualify for the Non-local Student Scholarships at Lingnan University, applicants need to fulfill the following requirements:

• International students are eligible to apply.
• Only applicants seeking undergraduate studies are considered.
• Applicants must be prepared for a full-time program.
• A proof of English Language proficiency is required.
• Applicants who has good academic standing and a good track record in community services.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

In order to be considered for enrollment in undergraduate programs funded by the UGC (Government-funded), please utilize the Online Admission System. Create a single application account and submit your applications online. Remember to select “Self-financed Programs” in the “Application Type” section.

There is no restriction on the number of program choices you can include when applying for admission to self-financed undergraduate programs. You can apply for both UGC-funded and self-financed undergraduate programs simultaneously using a single application account.
