ASSET MANAGER AT NESTOIL PLC

As an Asset Manager you will:

  • Provide strong oversight leadership for efficient Asset and Marine strategy
  • Develop, upgrade, and implement approved strategies, policies, and programs
  • Finalize annual budget and plan for Asset and Marine departments
  • Communicate Group-wide strategies, policies, initiatives, and plans to subsidiaries
  • Liaise with functional leaders to determine requirements and deliver tailored services
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for all Obijackson Group assets
  • Coordinate equipment pre-mobilization and demobilization for projects
  • Oversee scheduling and minimize downtime due to equipment breakdown
  • Manage equipment functionality and prompt repairs for defective equipment
  • Diagnose and propose cost-effective solutions for repair works
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and maintenance planner for critical spares availability
  • Ensure timely provision of required spares for maintenance
  • Manage contractor/client relationships for customer satisfaction
  • Moderate toolbox meetings and provide team coaching
  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies and safe work methods
  • Perform other assigned duties from Supervisor/Line Manager.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • Qualifications: First degree in Engineering, Social Sciences, or Management.
  • Certification: Possess relevant professional certification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
  • Organization: Demonstrated organization and coordination skills.
  • Team management: Proficient in managing and leading teams.
  • Mentoring and coaching: Skilled in mentoring and coaching individuals.
  • Microsoft Office: Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Business understanding: Good understanding of the company’s business and logistics operations.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Reporting: Ability to prepare and present concise oral and written operations reports and briefings.
  • Meeting management: Capable of effectively managing meetings.
  • Client orientation: Exhibits a client-oriented approach.
  • Integrity: Demonstrates honesty and trustworthiness.
  • Work ethics: Displays good work ethics.
  • Negotiation and influencing: Possesses strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Safety knowledge: Good knowledge of applicable safety procedures and policies.
