MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR AT NESTOIL PLC
- Provide strategic and exemplary leadership by leading by example
- Ensure timely repairs and routine maintenance according to schedule
- Maintain cost and operational efficiency in repairs and maintenance
- Diagnose and offer cost-effective solutions for challenging repair tasks
- Manage requests for spare parts needed for repairs and maintenance
- Foster open and honest communication within the team for effective feedback
- Promote effective teamwork and collaboration
- Coach and mentor subordinates
- Ensure work tools are in good condition and fit for purpose
- Maintain cleanliness and security of work tools and environment
- Attend toolbox talks and HSE meetings and ensure team compliance
- Educate staff on job hazards and safe working practices
- Conduct and coordinate pep talk meetings and toolbox talks
- Schedule, plan, and supervise daily jobs
- Report unsafe acts, conditions, and near misses to appropriate authority
- Maintain records of items, tools, activities, repairs, and maintenance
- Provide regular reports on the above records
- Perform any other assigned tasks by supervisor/line manager.
What are we looking for
- OND Certificate required as a minimum qualification.
- Trade Test or City & Guild certification accepted.
- HSE Level 3 certification mandatory.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience needed.
- Demonstrable practical and technical expertise required.
- Strong interpersonal skills desired.
- Ability to lead and manage a team necessary.
- Supervisory skills and dexterity important.
- Coordination and organizational abilities expected.
- Personal effectiveness crucial.
- Result and client orientation essential.
- Open, reliable, honest, and trustworthy traits sought after.
- Excellent work ethics expected.
- Good physical health required.
- Ability to follow instructions from Line Manager.
