BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER AT NESTOIL PLC

As a Business Development Officer, you are expected to:

  • Actively engaging with assigned clients, including NOCs, IOCs, and independent entities, to maintain continuous visibility and involvement of the assigned Strategic Business Unit (SBU) in all relevant market segments.
  • Prospecting and cultivating new business opportunities, which involves activities like cold calling, arranging client introductions, scheduling meetings and engagements, creating and delivering presentations, proposals, and bids to secure new business.
  • Creating sales proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations.
  • Participating in various events such as trade shows, exhibitions, technology showcases, product and service demonstrations to promote the company’s image and offerings.
  • Establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with clients, as well as important government and regulatory agencies and their representatives.
  • Monitoring and reporting on competitor performance, market trends, and potential threats.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and procedures, and complying with required safe work methods.
  • Carrying out any additional duties assigned by the supervisor or line manager.

What is the desired criteria?

  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in Business Development focused on Engineered solutions within the Oil & Gas upstream market
  • Demonstrated initiative and strong problem-solving abilities
  • High level of motivation and ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
  • A team player with exceptional personnel management skills
  • Proficiency in software such as Corel Draw, Photoshop, Photo Paint, MS Office tools, and more.
