The Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board has officially commenced the online registration for the bursary, covering students under the State Government’s Students’ Special Assistance Scheme (SSAS). The registration period is from April 1 to April 30.
Delta State Government Bursary Application Form 2024/2025
The Delta State government has given approval for the disbursement of bursaries to students enrolled in the Students’ Special Assistance Scheme for the current academic session.
The beneficiaries of this initiative are students who are indigenous to Delta State and are pursuing their education in tertiary institutions nationwide.
Mr. Charles Aniagwu, the State Commissioner for Information, made this announcement in a statement released on Tuesday, December 15.
He mentioned that the disbursement of payments is scheduled to commence before the week concludes.
The Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board is now accepting applications from eligible Delta State students enrolled in public and private tertiary institutions for participation in the Student’s Special Assistance Scheme (Bursary Award) applicable to Nigerian tertiary institutions.
This scheme is open to students already enrolled in recognized public and higher institutions such as universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education offering regular programs.
The online bursary registration for the State Government’s Students’ Special Assistance Scheme (SSAS) through the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board is set to take place from April 1 to April 30. Qualified Delta State students in both public and private tertiary institutions are encouraged to apply for the 2019/2020 Students’ Special Assistance Scheme (Bursary Award).
Delta State Government Bursary Application Form 2024/2025 – ELIGIBILITY
- Must be of Delta State Origin.
- Applicants above 18 years of age must be registered with the National Identification Management Commission (NIMC).
- Applicants below 18 years of age must submit their JAMB registration number.
- Must be a registered full-time student of any Public Tertiary Institutions.
- Diploma, Masters, and PhD students are not eligible.
- Must either be in the second year or above (200 to 500 level) in universities or be in ND II, HND I, and HND II in polytechnics/monotechnics.
- Should be in 200 level and above for all higher institutions.
- Only approved public and private-owned schools (University, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education) are eligible to apply.
- Must have a CGPA of 2.20 and above in the previous academic year’s examination.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
- Fill out the Fresh Application Form and submit it online.
- An online processing fee of N800 will be charged using debit cards.
- Upon successful payment, log in to your profile page to complete your details, including your bank information and academic details.
- Download and print your Online Acknowledgement Card for verification. Retain the Acknowledgement Card and send a scanned copy to 2020bursary@dsbsb.dl.gov.ng.
- Multiple applications will result in disqualification. Do not apply more than once.
- The deadline for applications is April 1 to April 30.
