Job Description​

• Collaborate with senior engineers on urban and regional masterplans.
• Assist in planning, designing, and executing infrastructural projects while ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
• Conduct research and analyze data related to urban development, housing initiatives, and infrastructure systems.
• Evaluate existing infrastructure, identify areas for improvement, and recommend suitable solutions.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and adherence to specifications.
• Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and project proposals as part of the project team.
• Learn and use advanced technology tools and software in relevant engineering disciplines.
• Contribute to the creation of detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications for infrastructure projects.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners for successful project completion.
• Prioritize safety protocols and standards to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel involved.

Qualifications

• Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (minimum Second Class Lower) or HND (minimum Lower Credit) in one of the following disciplines:
    • Civil Engineering
    • Structural Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering

• Proficiency in using engineering design software:

  • AutoCAD
  • ETABS
  • STAAD Pro
  • Revit
  • Equivalent software

• Additional Advantages:

  • Registration with relevant professional body
  • Strong interest in urban planning, housing development, and regional development
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles, concepts, and practices within respective disciplines

• Mandatory Requirements:

  • Possession of NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate
  • Computer literacy
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in teams

• Age Criteria:

  • Applicants must be within the ages of 22-30.

• Experience Advantage:

  • Experience in the use of CAD&GIS Tools.
