Details (Quantity Surveyor Trainee):

• Successful candidates undergo 1-year training under the scheme.
• After completing the program, candidates receive a permanent employment offer with the Edo State Government.

Job Description​

• Create dilapidation schedule.
• Perform interim valuation.
• Compile Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Interpret various contract conditions in construction industry.
• Develop construction budgets.
• Conduct contract audits.
• Prepare cashflow analysis for construction projects.
• Manage construction contracts.
• Handle construction procurement and tender/bid evaluation.
• Produce construction cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (minimum Second Class Lower) or HND (minimum Lower Credit) in Quantity Surveying.
• Additional Advantage: Evidence of NIQS registration.
• Certification: Candidates must have NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
• Skills: Computer literacy, good interpersonal/leadership skills, and ability to work effectively in teams.
• Age Requirement: Applicants must be within the ages of 22-30.
• Preferred Experience: Experience in CAD&GIS Tools will be an added advantage.
