Stanford Biology PhD Preview Program(BPP)-Details

Program Details:

• The application period for the BPP 2023 is from August 22nd to September 22nd. Please refer to the “How to apply” section below for instructions.
• Admitted applicants will be notified by September 29th and invited to participate in the BPP.
• The program will be held on October 12th and 13th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Pacific time (PDT).
• The program will include sessions focused on navigating the application process for the two Stanford Biology tracks, one-on-one and group meetings with faculty, and academic and social meetings with graduate students in the department.
• Some of the material covered during the program will be recorded and available for future reference.

Eligibility for the 2024 Stanford Biology PhD Preview Program

The Stanford Biology preview program is open to individuals from all backgrounds. To be eligible, you must:

• Have graduated from college or will graduate by the summer of 2024.
• Be considering applying to the Biology PhD program at Stanford.
• International students are also eligible to apply.
